SnapGuardian Privacy Policy

Overview

SnapGuardian processes all screenshots locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your images, extracted text, or any personal data to our servers.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No accounts or personal identifiers.
• No uploads of images or OCR text.
• No analytics or third-party trackers.
• No ads.

On-Device Processing

OCR, categorization, reminders, search, and widget data are computed and stored on your device. Deleting the app removes this data.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Permissions

• Photos: to read screenshots for on-device OCR and to delete originals if you choose.
• Notifications: to deliver reminders you set.

Children

SnapGuardian is suitable for all ages. It does not collect personal data and does not require an account.
